Because we have more and more Canadian friends who follow our blog we also want to write a few words for and to them: After Canada Day in Ottawa our journey led us along the St. Lawrence River to Montreal (too hot at that day!), Quebec City (which we liked) and up to the beautiful Charlevoix region. Thank you Claude for your warm hospitality and all the delicious food & wine. We also saw a Beluga whale at the spot you recommended us!
Hi to you both over there in Canada. Even if you are not able to read these lines at the moment (because of being somewhere in the deep north with no contact to the electronic world ...) we want to send you our warmest greetings. We are back from our trip to the Azores - it was wonderful. And SO many volcanoes and ropy lava and ash and and and ... - no day without geology. Being home we immediately read your new reports here in this blog - appreciating the benefits of electronics which let us SEE you and READ about your trip. We still are so proud of you!!! Keep on enjoying it - and take care. We love you. H & K from mom and dad
